As a physician, healthcare consultant, and medical device start-up founder, I bring nuanced expertise of healthcare systems, care navigation, insurance and payment fundamentals, and the inner-workings of the practice and business of medicine from 25+ years of medical and technical experience.  Throughout my clinical and surgical practice – inclusive of in-patient, out-patient, emergency and trauma care, practice and financial management, inter-professional teamwork, healthcare workflows, and navigation through the complex systems of healthcare -, I developed insight and detailed healthcare comprehension, which I bring to mission-driven entrepreneurs, innovators, businesses, patients, and caregivers to enable their endeavors.

Besides experiencing medicine from the physician side, I know the frustration of healthcare navigation. from the patient and caregiver side. I am a sandwich-generation caregiver for my elderly parents with complex medical issues. and grapple with arranging care, dealing with insurance issues and medication approval, scheduling hassles, and overall general healthcare bureaucracy.
